Any play can be a good play. To say that a -500 never has value is just wrong. Every one of those season long heavy chalk plays I bet ended up winning. By the way, remember my biggest chalk play was on the very Nets team that many people are now claiming to have been on to win the Finals all year long.

I would tend to agree with you on laying heavy chalk for a single game. I would not be willing to lay -409 or higher on a single game because anything can happen on a given night. But it is different over the course of a season the best team will win out.
